TelePsychiatry Associates practitioners are skilled in the practice of treating a wide variety of different conditions including depression, bipolar affective disorder, alcohol use disorder, opioid use disorder, alcohol and drug withdrawal & detoxification, anxiety disorders, post-traumatic stress disorder, trauma related to sexual or physical abuse, and weight loss management, among others.
The types of treatments provided will depend upon your practitioner and the problems needing attention. Treatment can be provided in a provider's physical office or remotely at an off-site location such as an emergency room, clinic, or rehabilitation facility. The first one to two sessions will involve critical listening in order to obtain a comprehensive understanding of the issues at hand. Treatments that follow could include the discriminating use of medication, an alcohol or drug detoxification protocol, in-office medication administration for treatment resistant depression, empathic psychotherapy, or some combination of treatments. If appropriate, additional therapeutic modalities may be employed including group therapies, structured activities, assigned readings, etc.

In most cases, insurance is accepted. You can determine if your insurance policy is accepted by a certain practitioner either through the website or by calling the office. Most insurance policies cover in-office psychiatric care and many, but not all, cover tele-psychiatry appointments as well. Please be aware that you are responsible for understanding what services your insurance policy will and will not cover. Most insurance policies will still cover the cost of prescriptions and laboratory tests even if appointments are not covered.
You can register on the website as a new client. Once you complete the forms, a staff member will contact you and provide you access to the scheduling calendar and additional information.
Appointments are scheduled either online using the website calendar or by calling the office.
